Residential polished concrete floors and home concrete work

Clutch Construction does concrete work for homeowners and renovators in Bunbury and the South West of Western Australia, from a polished living-area floor to the pool surround and the driveway outside.
What homeowners ask us for
- Floors. Polished concrete for living areas, garages and kitchens, in new builds or existing slabs.
- Outdoors. Honed concrete and liquid limestone for pool surrounds, patios and paths, and concrete driveways.
- Foundations. House slabs and shed slabs for new builds and extensions.
- Furniture. Benchtops and custom pieces cast to your size.

How it works
You contact us with the job and the town. We ask about the area, the existing surface and how you will use it, then talk through the finish options and quote. Because the same crew pours and finishes, a new slab can be planned for the floor you want on top of it.
If you are building or renovating, mention it early. The pour, the grind and the sealing work best when they are planned together, and a builder can talk to us directly.
Choosing a finish
Polished floors suit the indoors. For the garden, pool and driveway, honed concrete or liquid limestone gives more grip. If you are comparing, our finish comparison puts them in one table.
Before you start
A walk-through helps, but photos and measurements are enough for a first conversation. We will tell you what the existing floor or slab needs, what the finish will look like and what to plan around, such as moving furniture, access for machines and dust control while grinding is under way.
Where we work: Bunbury and the South West of Western Australia.
Common questions
- Can I polish the concrete slab in my existing home?
- Often, yes. If the slab is sound and not covered in a bonded coating, polishing is usually possible. We look at the floor first and tell you what to expect.
- Is polished concrete cold underfoot?
- Concrete holds the temperature of the room, so it can feel cool in winter. Rugs and heating work as they do on any hard floor.
- Can I use the same finish inside and outside?
- Not exactly. A glossy polished floor suits inside, while a honed surface suits outside, where grip matters. They sit well together.
- How do I get a quote?
- Use the form below or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the town, the area and what you want, and send a photo if you can.
