How it works
A slab starts with site preparation: levelling, compacted base and formwork. Steel reinforcement is fixed to the engineer's design, and the concrete is placed, levelled and finished. The footings and edge beams are part of the same pour. We work to the plans and the engineer's details, not our own.
House slabs and shed slabs
House slabs are poured to your engineer's design and your approved plans. Shed slabs follow the shed supplier's or engineer's requirements for thickness and edge details. Tell us the size and whether you need a vehicle-grade floor.
One crew from slab to finish
Because we are a finishing specialist, the slab does not have to be treated as a rough base. If you want a floor you can polish or burnish, we plan the pour and finish for that. Before you start
Send us the plans, the site address and the timing. We confirm access for trucks and a pump if one is needed, check the site is ready, and agree who supplies what. Rain, access and ground conditions affect pour dates, so we talk through the program with you. If the slab is a base for a shed kit, check its requirements first, because they dictate the slab size and edge details.
